Capt. Patrick Price of Daymaker charters out of Four Fish Marina in Jensen Beach and his clients saw an unusual site while fishing offshore Friday morning.
They saw an estimated 10-foot long mako shark leaping out of the water.
Upon closer inspection, as they moved closer to try to catch the mako, they saw a humpback whale calf and an adult humpback, and a hammerhead shark below it.

Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, "Life" consists of 11 shows that each explore a different facet of the world's animal kingdom, ranging from reptiles to mammals to plants.
A co-production between the BBC and the Discovery Channel, "Life" began production before the release of "Planet Earth," so the latter's success (the program's DVD was the highest-grossing American HD title of 2007) came as great relief to Executive Producer Mike Gunton.

Researchers at the University of California at Santa Cruz are studying a rare Hawaiian Monk Seal so they can help the dwindling population in the wild.
Experts said the monk seal population has dropped to 1,100 and decreases at a rate of 4 percent each year.
Biologist Terrie Williams, who is overseeing the research, said it is the most endangered marine mammal in the U.S.
He was brought to Santa Cruz's Long Marina Lab from the island of Molokai in November.
